Michael J. Kraeftner founded celum in 1999, at the age of 20, while he was studying Media Technology and Design at the Upper Austria University of Applied Science. celum has developed standard software solutions since 2004, is growing organically at a steady pace, and invests 50 per cent of its turnover in research & development.

As the owner and CEO of the company, Michael J. Kraeftner is dividing his time between operational management tasks, direct involvement in selected customer implementation projects and the ongoing advancement of celum’s vision, strategies and products.

In addition to his successful business career as an entrepreneur, Michael J. Kraeftner is a regular lecturer on the topic of digital asset management at both the Danube University Krems and the Upper Austria University of Applied Science.
