Coordinating content creation and delivery across such a vast network posed significant challenges in speed, consistency, and brand alignment.
The Challenge
Changing processes can be challenging, but it is essential when global operations demand speed, consistency, and brand alignment. In this case, the client needed to change the way product content was created and delivered. Their fragmented approach, involving several external agencies and storage systems, slowed production and hindered brand consistency. At the same time, they needed to enable the rapid distribution of approved product content across multiple channels while ensuring accurate localisation for 40 countries, all without compromising creative quality or operational efficiency.
THE Solution
CELUM enabled the creation of two structured workflows within the DAM’s folder structure, complete with precise permission settings. This ensures accountability and streamlined collaboration. The marketing team now manages the first workflow, which covers the entire lifecycle of product images — from initial photo shoots to the distribution of approved assets across channels. The second workflow is overseen by the product management team and focuses on preparing and distributing product information, such as data sheets and manuals, including the necessary translations for multiple languages.

Once approved, the content is enriched with channel-specific metadata, enabling effortless distribution.

Adobe InDesign Plugin: External agencies and designers can continue working within their trusted application, Adobe InDesign, while accessing all assets directly from CELUM and returning final outputs without ever leaving InDesign.
